1/29/13 (Isle @ Home)

Pine City fell to Isle at home 48-62.  After falling behind early 17-3, Pine City fought back and cut the lead to 3 a few times in the second half.  In the end, Isle was able to control the offensive rebounds and the middle helping them seal the win.  Pine City will travel to Onamia on Friday.

Practice Change

Practice today (1/30/13) will begin at 430 in the weight room.

Games Update

1/8/13: Pine City fell to Hinckley-Finlayson 74-46.  H-F was able to capatalize on a slow start out of half by the Dragons.  Pine City was down 21-29 at half.

1/10/13: Pine City defeated visiting Ogilvie 47-65.  The Dragons came out ready to play at half time extending their 3 point halftime lead.

1/22/13: Pine City found themselves in a close lose at Aitkin 58-49.  Free-throws and decision making was the difference down the stretch.

1/24/13: Pine City was able to outlast East Central at East Central 60-50.  Hot shooting in the second half helped lift the Dragons over the Eagles.

1/26/13: Pine City was in control for most of the game at home against Duluth Marshall and won with a final score of 62-47.  The Dragons were able to overcome a halftime lul to get the W.

Practice Change

Practice on 1/28 for Varsity and JV will start at 530 in Coach Allen's classroom and be at the High School.

1-4-13 (Braham)

Braham High School outlasted Pine City 85-54 on Friday night at Pine City.  The Dragons and the Bombers fought back and forth in the first half, but Braham was able to outlast Pine City as the Dragons continue to work towards putting together an entire game of hard work and focus.  Noah Adams lead the Dragons with 23 points while Jordan Rarick pulled down 4 rebounds.

Webster Tournament

The Pine City Dragons traveled to Webster WI for a Holiday Tournament.  In the first game, Pine City defeated the hosting team (Webster High School) 70-31.  Andrew Blake and Mitchell Hansmann each had 14 points and Noah Adams had 12.  Hansmann also had 9 rebounds just missing his first career varsity double-double.

Pine City was defeated by Grantsburg 71-37.  Telby Madison lead the Dragons with 12 points.  Noah Adams and Mitchell Hansmann each had 9,  Hansmann also added 5 steals.
