The 3rd-6th grade youth hoops season came to an official end on Saturday as they celebrated their seasons together. The group got together at Chucker's in Rush City to bowl and share some pizza.
Senior Caleb Fromm has made his collegiate athletic decision for the fall of 2021; he will be attending The University of Minnesota-Morris to participate on the men's track team.
"Caleb is a heck of an athlete, someone who probably could have played a few different sports at the collegiate level," said Head Coach Kyle Allen, "I think track is a great pick for Caleb; it matches him well and will allow him to compete at that high level."
During his time at Pine City, Caleb has participated in varsity basketball, cross country, football, track, and baseball over his high school career.
"Caleb will go down as one of the most decorated basketball players in our program when it is all said and done," continued Allen. "You will be able to see that one our team awards board, his name is littered on it. Being our only senior this year would be impossible for most, but Caleb was able to live in two worlds, the group above him and the group below him. This will help him at the next level".
