1980 Team Recognized

This past Saturday at the Pine City Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet, the 1980 Boys Basketball team was recognized for their accomplishment of being the only basketball team in school history to make the trip to the State Tournament.

Dan Blake, a member of the team, spoke on behalf of the team.  During his speech, a common theme of unselfishness and unity came up, speaking very highly of all of his former teammates and coaches.

This recognition is well over due as this team accomplished something that had never been done before or sense in the Boys Basketball Program.
