Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer
Pine City and rival Braham come together for a purpose
Braham was generous enough to participate in Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer night with Pine City this year. It is an organization that raises funds and awareness for the research to help stop childhood cancers. Because of the makeup game, Pine City ended up playing Braham twice this past week. Because of the circumstances, they were able to have the event both at Braham and at Pine City. At the game the teams had a free will donation that the crowd could participate in. All of the proceeds went to the Karly Irlbeck family. Karly is a senior at Pine City High School and was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma this fall. “I am so appreciative of our community and Braham for coming together for this purpose,” said coach Kyle Allen.
