Summer Open Gyms
Tentatively: Monday-Thursday: 7-11 AM at the High School Gym on June 10-27, July 8-31.
The Unified Athletic Program will run from 7-8 am and from 10-11 am daily. From 8-10 am, it is “open gym”.
Offseason is a time for the individual to get better. We are expecting some new basketball equipment in this summer; please plan to attend open gyms/weight room if you can and are interested.
If you have questions on “what to work on during the offseason” or looking for suggestions on “how to improve my game individually”, please do not hesitate to contact Coach Allen and/or refer to our “program goals” sheet and end of the year interview sheet that is attached. We will have things put in place for the summer with athletic improvement and skill improvement. Open gym is the best opportunity for a player to improve!
There will be possible incentive programs set up for boys basketball revolving around hours, attendance, working with specific equipment, shots taken, and/or total number of dribbles.
Incoming 7th graders will need a physical on file and an athletic fee paid to participate.
Summer Camps and Tournaments
There are ample opportunities for camps and tournaments over the summer for all grade levels. All of the information is up on the blog or feel free to contact Coach Allen about it.
There will be a possible “Youth Camp” to work this summer; more information will come at a later date.
We will be eventually scheduling tournaments to attend for different levels. Please see the text and blog updates for more information.
