"Nick has been an amazing three sport athlete at Pine City for a long time now" said Head Boys Basketball Coach Kyle Allen, "he has accomplished a lot over the years. I am so proud of him for earning this opportunity".
Hansmann will join two other Dragons playing football at Concordia in fellow senior Quentin Miklya and 2018 graduate Jake Lunceford. Hansmann also follows a family tradition as his two older brothers Austin (2017) and Mitchell (2015) also attend Concordia College.
"I think Nick could have had some options on where to play and what to play when it came to college sports" said Allen. "He was more then talented enough to play football, baseball, or basketball at the next level. I think there was a big pull for him to go to Concordia and I know he is really going to enjoy himself and continue to have success. He has been an absolute joy to coach!".
On top of both his brothers being at Concorida, Nick's Dad, Coach Wayne Hansmann, was also a Cobber and played football at the school.
