Dragon boys basketball continue Target Center tradition
On Friday, January 20, the Dragon boys basketball team got to participate in a special tradition. Both the JV and varsity squads got to play in the Target Center, home court of the Minnesota Timberwolves. They played Maple Lake and enjoyed this lifetime experience. Coach Allen said this has been an annual tradition, and he thanks Maple Lake and everyone who bought tickets and came to support the Dragons.
“It is so fun to be able to walk into that court and hear your name over the loudspeaker. Every eligible varsity guy got to play. These guys will remember this forever,” he added.
The Dragon boys will play at Braham on January 24 (no score available as of press time) and then in Rush City on January 27. They will then travel to Hiawatha Collegiate High School campus on January 28.
