Boys basketball sees tough loss to East Central

It was a tough loss for the Dragons on Tuesday, January 31 as they were eager to get a win against East Central. 

Just half way into the first half, it was a defensive game with the score only being 8 to 12 - Dragons down by 4. The Dragons continued to trail by a few points until halfway through the second half they were able to get the lead by 1 point. But the lead didn’t last, and they once again found themselves just a few points behind. 

It was close in the end with the Dragons fighting hard for those last few points. But they couldn’t quite catch up, and the game ended with the Dragons losing 54-59. Senior Luke Wilson was the high scorer for the game for the Dragons. 

The boys will host St. Francis on February 6 (no score as of press time) and then Braham on February 7. They will then head to Milaca High School on February 10.
