The Dragon boys basketball team played St. Francis at home on February 6. Coach Kyle Allen stated this may have been the most talented team the Dragons have played all year. St. Francis has some talented, big players, one of whom has a D1 scholarship.

The Dragons were excited for the game, and they played well in the first half. They were only down by six points at half-time, and the boys looked ready to play.
However, in the second half, the Dragons seemed to flounder a bit, and could not quite keep up with the depth and talent of St. Francis.
Allen commented on the team play, “The guys did well; they stuck with the game plan and showed growth. The score doesn’t show it, but the guys showed up ready to play. Our hope is these games get us ready for conference and section games.” The final score was 52-81.
