Pine City had their first loss on the season at Hinckley-Finlayson on Tuesday with a final score of 67-76.
The Jaguars got out to a hot start, starting the game up 11-0 before The Dragons were able to claw their way back into the game. Going into halftime, the game was tied. Big plays by Jake Rademacher (17 points, 6 rebounds) and Clay Logan (18 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals) on the offensive end helped keep PC in the game.
Throughout the second half, it was much of the same. A see-saw game that saw both teams take small leads throughout the time. Nick Hansmann (11 points, 5 rebounds) continued to bring great energy to the game on both ends. H-F was able to force some steals that lead to layups on the other end on back-to-back-to-back plays which sealed the win for them.
Pine City will be on the road again on Friday traveling to Isle for another conference matchup!
