The first half was the tale of two teams. The Dragons were able to build a nice lead through the first part of the first half behind a nice shooting performance from Jake Rademacher (14 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals) but let Aitkin back into the game and the score was 42-37 at half in favor of PC.
In the second half, the intensity on the defensive end was much clearer then it was in the first half. Nick Hansmann (20 points, 4 steals) came alive on both ends of the court while Clay Logan (21 points, 5 assists, 3 steals) helped Nick pace the Dragons on the offensive end of the court.
Freshman Seth Logan (10 points, 8 rebounds) made his varsity debut, having a good second half of play in extended minutes.
All eligible players entered the contest.
Next up for PC will be hosting East Central on Tuesday (12/6).
