The first half was a very gutty effort by both sides with PC taking a 6 point lead into halftime, 29-23. The scoring picked up in the second half for The Dragons as they did a good job on the boards. Mitchell Hansmann (17 points, 13 rebounds), Kole Jusczak (15 points, 10 rebounds) and Connor Clark (9 points, 8 rebounds) did a great job of securing rebounds, playing tough and strong.
The other two starters, Noah Adams (14 points) and Easton Foss (7 points) had good games as well. On the defensive end, Foss lead PC guarding Isle's top scorer and holding him to 11 points in the game. Adams lead the offensive attack both in the fast break and in the half court.
Coming off the bench, PC got great minutes from Clay Logan, Jake Rademacher, James Pixley, Austin Hansmann, and Andrew Clementson. Very much a team effort in the win.
The Dragons will begin the "back half" of their schedule starting Thursday @Onamia. They will play every conference opponent one more time along with MLWR, Barnum, and Mora.
