The Dragons were able to get off to a quick start thanks to some stingy defense lead by Noah Adams (9 points, 8 assists, 4 steals), Connor Clark (10 points, 7 rebounds, 5 steals) and Mitchell Hansmann (15 points, 9 rebounds, 8 steals, 4 assists). On the other end, Kole Jusczak (21 points, 11 rebounds) continued his domination on the inside.
All eligable varsity members were able to get some playing time on Thursday night. Austin Hansmann (7 points) was able to come off the bench and provide a spark along with Clay Logan (5 points). Junior Jon Blake also played great team defense down the stretch.
On a side note, 3 brothers (#TeamHansmann) were able to share the floor together in green and white. Senior Mitchell Hansmann, Sophomore Austin Hansmann, and 8th Grader Nick Hansmann all were on the varsity floor together during the second half.
A long home stretch awaits The Dragons as their next 8 games will be in Pine City!
