SCSU Camps

Coaches,

As high school basketball is coming to a finish for another season in Minnesota, we wanted to take a second to inform you of some of our camp options at St. Cloud State University this summer. Whether you are a school that is local or from further away, we have an option that can fit your team. Our camps are led by Men’s Assistant Basketball Coach Matt Reimer.

Team Camps – We feature 3 different team camp options throughout the summer.

·         June 14^th and 15^th. Teams can sign up for an individual date or both for the first camp. Team fee for one day is $180 and for both days is $310. The camp will have divisions for Varsity and J.V.

·         July 12^th & 13^th – Teams will sign up for both days for our second team camp. The cost for the camp is $310. This is our biggest tournament of the summer traditionally with teams totaling between 40-60. Teams will be put into pool play on Saturday and Sunday, will be tournament style bracket play. Varsity and J.V. divisions will be held.

·         July 21^st – Our final camp is a one day offering where teams will be guaranteed three games during the day. Varsity and J.V. divisions will be held.

Summer Competition League – Featuring divisions for Varsity and Junior Varsity that run Tuesday through Thursday evenings, this is a great league to build chemistry for your team heading into the fall. The league has 6 weeks of games starting on June 3^rd and concluding on July 17^th with a one week break over the 4^th of July week.

·         Varsity Division – Varsity teams will sign up for one night of competition, Tuesday or Wednesday night and play two games each night.

·         J.V. Division – J.V. teams will play Thursday night weekly during the league.

Youth Camp Options

Our Green Lake Boys Basketball camp is led by Huskies Assistant Coach Matt Reimer and he is assisted by current and former Husky players as well as high school coaches from around Minnesota. The camp is a full week and gives players in grades 5 – 10 up to 7 hours of court time a day. The players are divided by age and will be placed into teams throughout the week for competitive leagues while also working on fundamentals and skill development during different sessions. The camp will start on June 8^th and conclude on June 13^th.

Our Day Camp is led by Huskies Assistant Coach Matt Reimer as well as current and former Husky players and area coaches. The camp is designed for players in grades 3^rd – 9^th and is for boys and girls to attend. The camp will focus on skill and fundamental development while also giving kids the opportunity to play in competitive leagues throughout the week. Camp will begin July 7^th and conclude on July 11^th.
