The Dragons came out focused and kept that focus throughout the game in an 83-33 victory at home against Ogilvie on Thursday night.
Throughout the first part of the first half, the scoring was slow to come by. With about 6 minutes left in the first half, the score was 24-14 in favor of Pine City.
Nathan Kleppe (5 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 0 turnovers) looked strong and in control in the first half as he commanded the ball and distributed it well in the middle of the zone offense. Running with him were Clay Logan (22 points, 4 steals) and Jake Rademacher (15 points, 4 rebounds) helping PC take a lead into halftime.
In the second half, Pine City continued to execute their game plan. Riley Palmer (6 rebounds, 3 steals) continues to get stronger and better inside the lane rebounding while freshman Konnor Jusczak (12 points, 4 steals) continues to get more comfortable playing the point guard spot.
PC turns around and plays Onamia at home Friday night to end the week.
